Founded by Consol Homes in 2018, Greenfield Academy provides high quality, low cost secondary education to young people in central Malawi.
Supporting access to education has never been more important. With many schools closed for months and families under severe financial pressure from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many young people’s studies have been badly affected.
To date, we've raised over $6,300 to employ a team of 12 teachers, buy materials and furniture and provide education to over 100 students.
But to raise the $2,500 a term we need to run the Academy, ensure a Covid-safe environment, develop our new library and science laboratory, and in due course, provide essential girls' accommodation, we need your help!

Our projects are developed specifically for the communities we live in, through the active participation of our members, young and old.
We are working together to provide social, economic and educational support for orphans and other vulnerable children within our communities.
In so doing, we are also learning from and assisting each other in the development of new skills and partnerships to improve the quality of all our lives. We are united by our belief in principles of equality, freedom of expression and cooperation.
Ours is a community-initiated, community-based approach, committed not only to developing lasting solutions to the challenges of our everyday lives, but to generating fresh ideas and opportunities for the enrichment of our futures.
